We built Junk Doctors to a $2 Million a year Business by year 5 utilizing an aggressive advertising and growth model while relying on team members to do the majority of the work. That has given myself and business partner an awesome amount of freedom in our life and we’ve had a hell of a lot of fun doing it. What’s up guys? I’m Lee Godbold of Junk Removal Authority. I hope everybody had a great Memorial Day weekend so far. We’ve had a great one. Enjoying it here at the beach in North Carolina. Yesterday, I was at the beach all day. I’ve thought a lot about business. Did some work-related stuff on the computer for business? I just had a great family day to enjoy the day. My wife and my in-laws and everything, so we’ve had a great time. That same exact time we did about $6,800. I was at the beach and I made $6,800. That’s the business model that Junk Doctors was built on. What we’re trying to get each and every one of you to do is to be able to go on a vacation. A family vacation but not to give up your income.
I’m a member of a Facebook group and on that group a lot of guys we’re talking about getting a day off so they can rest and all that sort of deal. I work seven days a week, but I have days like this. A lot of my day is consisting of thoughts. I haven’t been on a truck in a couple of years. I have stopped in on jobs, checked in on jobs. Occasionally helped out on a heavy odd and the guys could get. I haven’t been on a truck doing a daily job in probably two years. As far as consistently be on the truck, I did that for one year and that was it. Our entire business model has been built on the owner working on the business. Working in the business too, but not doing every single job. Having team members that do it and supervising those team members. Teaching those team members how to do it.
