What is this service?
Junk Removal Authority (JRA) operates a video-based job estimation platform that we provide to junk removal companies across the United States. Through this platform, a junk removal company’s customers can submit a short video of the items they need removed. JRA’s system analyzes the video and sends a price estimate to the customer via SMS text message on behalf of the junk removal company. The customer and the company can then exchange follow-up messages to clarify the scope of work or approve the quote.
Who sends the messages?
Text messages are sent by JRA’s client in response customers that have requested a quote. The application utilizes AI to produce the quote. The AI is managed by JRA. All messages relate specifically to the customer’s junk removal quote request — not marketing.
How does a customer opt in?
Customers opt in by submitting a video quote request form on a participating junk removal company’s website and providing their mobile phone number. The submission form clearly states that by submitting the form, the customer consents to receive SMS messages related to their quote. No messages are sent without this explicit opt-in action.
What messages will customers receive?
After opting in, customers may receive the following types of text messages:
- A price estimate based on the submitted video
- Follow-up questions or clarifications about the job
- Responses to questions the customer sends about their quote
- Confirmation or scheduling information if the customer approves the quote
Messages are transactional and job-specific. Customers will not receive unsolicited promotional or marketing messages.
How often will customers receive messages?
Message frequency varies based on the complexity of the job and the number of follow-up questions exchanged. Customers typically receive between 1 and 5 messages per quote request. No recurring or scheduled marketing messages are sent.
Are there any charges?
Junk Removal Authority does not charge customers for this SMS service as it is currently being tested. Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier and plan.
How do customers opt out?
Customers can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. They will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To re-enroll, customers may submit a new video quote request.
How do customers get help?
Customers can reply HELP to any message to receive assistance. They may also contact Junk Removal Authority directly at info@junkremovalauthority.com.
Is customer information shared with third parties?
Customer phone numbers and message content are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver quotes and communicate about the customer’s specific job. JRA uses Twilio as its SMS delivery provider. Twilio’s privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
