Trailers suck - at least for junk removal business owners! Trailers fit less stuff, they're harder to maneuver (and can cost you a lot more because of that!), make it harder to scale your business, and aren't as easy to load or dump. As you expand your junk removal business, go with dump trucks instead of trailers. You won’t regret it! What’s going on guys? I hope everybody is doing great today. So, behind me, we got one of our Junk Doctors trucks. I think there is some sort of an electrical issue going on. The computer might be going bad on it or something. It just drives down the road perfect and cuts right off. Power dies in it and it cuts right off. We’re trying to figure out what’s going on with it.

Why Choose A Dump Truck For Your Business

What I want to do on this video is I’m going to talk about why you should be going with a dump truck and not a trailer or a dump trailer. Starting out in their trailers is fine. Dump trailers are okay to start out with all. When it’s just you on the truck, you’re getting going. You’re proving that junk removal works for you, but the dump truck beats the hell out of a trailer, seven days a week every single day. This dump truck is better than a trailer. Especially once you start having employees. So, number one right behind me, what do you notice? See that’s a great big advertisement running down that road. The big yellow, got this logo huge going down the road. People are going to notice that. That’s going to be a great way for you to get money. Every month we get on all the other trucks we’ve got running, we get about $2,500 of income. You’re good for several hundred dollars a month just by having those big yellow graphics going down the road. The other is this truck right here, especially this truck. I’ll let these Isuzu trucks, they’ve got some issues from time to time. This truck right here, the nice thing about it is there are low cab Ford trucks and they’re very maneuverable.

A lot of the employees you get and that you’re going to be hiring are inexperienced drivers. These trucks right here are going to keep them out of trouble. They’re still going to tear up from time to time. No doubt about it. Think of putting an inexperienced driver and give them a truck and trailer back. It’s a lot more difficult. They struggle with this sometimes. That’s what you got to remember. You got to remember the people you’re going to be hiring. Also, you can access a lot of areas on these trucks that you might not be able to access very easily with a trailer. Obviously, the walls are higher. You can get a lot more stuff in these trucks than a trailer, but not all the time.

Looking Into The Best Advantages

The high walls are not necessarily an advantage either. Overall guys, you got to really almost tell everybody that you got to be in a dump truck. They drive so much easier and get jobs done a lot quicker. They’re less likely to get bogged down in a landfill. Just overall, it’s just a lot better setup. We’ve gone the trailer out. We went into a dump truck just as soon as we can. I encourage everybody out there running trailers to upgrade to a dump truck. You’re going to love it. These Isuzu aren’t the most comfortable trucks in the world. You could go with an f-350. I’d caution you against it. The reason being is they’re not as maneuverable. People will be knocking the nose off of them.

The main thing is just they’re not as maneuverable. People are going to be hitting mailboxes and taking stuff out. If you’re going to be in that truck. If that’s going to be a truck that you’re going to use and you don’t keep a real experienced driver. Go with Ford F-350. Nobody will regret going to a dump truck compared to a trailer. I almost guarantee it. It is just a hell of a setup. If you’re going to scale, you’re going to grow your business. Go with a dump truck, it beats the trailer. Talk to everybody soon.
